Royal Caribbean released a statement saying they “[continue] to cooperate fully with authorities during their investigation of crew members onboard Enchantment of the Seas suspected of smuggling drugs” after a second large-scale drug bust on one of the ships in their fleet. $94,000 worth of heroin and cocaine were found by drug-sniffing dogs aboard the Enchantment, the second such bust on a Royal Caribbean liner in the past month. No new arrests were made, but three Royal Caribbean employees were arrested after a December 18th bust that yielded $65,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in an employee’s possession after the ship docked. All three men have retained attorneys to represent them.
