Criminal Attorney Karin Riley Porter is a Virginia-based firm that is committed to supporting the community. Our attorney is honored to encourage members of the community to participate in the Bluemont Operation Turbo 5k and 10-mile races in Georgetown, Washington, DC.
Operation Turbo is dedicated to supplying numerous deployed sailors, marines, and service members with meaningful care packages also considered “boxes of home”. This is an excellent opportunity for community members to come together and run for a cause that truly means something. Participants will receive special perks for supporting this cause, which include t-shirts that will be given out upon arrival and registration, 45 minutes prior to the start of the race.
You are invited to support the foundation by participating in the Bluemont race(s) on Sunday, August 13th on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. The 10-miler will begin promptly at 8:00 am and the 5k race will begin shortly after at 8:30 am; both races will end at 12:00 pm. The race will start and end on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Path (3700 Water Street, Washington, DC 20007 United States.)
We encourage you to come out and have an incredible morning with the community while showing your appreciation for military members and their families. Also, please make sure to stop by our booth for a chance to grab a well-earned swag bag after completing your long run in the park! Further information on the race can be found here, as well as access to registration.
